Photos: Woodbridge High's 'Side Show' (Orange County Register - Friday, May 9, 2008) Woodbridge High School Musical Theater students presented "Side Show" over the weekend in the school's theater. "Side Show" is based on the true story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton, who became vaudeville stars during the Depression. Told almost entirely in song, the story of two women joined at the hip tells of their bondage that brings them fame but denies them love. Following them from England to America, and finally to Hollywood on the eve of their appearance in the 1932 movie "Freaks," the twins are continuously victimized by their managers. The cast consisted of 30 Woodbridge students, 25 musicians who perform the score by Henry Krieger and Bill Russell and 10 students on the stage crew. Rob Blaney was musical director and Kristine Remigio Linares was the director.
