Rob's compositions and arrangements span a variety of musical genres including works for choral ensembles, musical theater, hymns and praise songs, solo piano music, radio jingles, on-hold phone music, and more.
Selected projects: This Music of Life Rob was asked to write a song in celebration of the music programs in the Irvine Unified School District that would be sung by students from the honor choirs of elementary, middle schools, and high schools. His friend and composer, Brendan McBrien was kind enough to create a masterful orchestration for the piece. The song had it's World-Premiere at the 2018 IUSD Honor Concert held in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, CA. The Woman In Black
Concordia University A ghost play by Stephen Malatratt Rob's friend, Mic Shackelford, was directing this play and needed a theme song, sound effects, and ambiance music. Rob had a blast composing and recording this music, and was honored with a Meritorious Achievement Award for his work from the Kennedy Center in 2005. |
